Selling Plans
There are 3 Plans available for selling online on Shopper Delight.
- Plan 1 - List up to 50 products for free using your Shopper Delight free shopping cart. Your credit card is used to pay as-you-go for the 6% sales fee at the time of order. If the sales fee amount is less than $5 at the time of order, it is added to your Sales Fee Account due. When your Sales Fee Account due becomes $5 or more, your credit card will be charged for the total account due. You will be notified each time your card is charged for the 6% sales fee.
- Plan 2 - List up to 50 products for free using your Shopper Delight free shopping cart. Add $30 or more into your Sales Fee Account in advance. Use this option if you wish to pay with PayPal or do not wish to use a credit card for the 6% sales fee. With this option, the 6% is deducted from your Sales Fee Account at the time of order.
- Plan 3 (Shopper Delight Merchant) - List up to 500 products for free using your Shopper Delight free shopping cart. If you list over 500 products in a month then .05 per month is added for each additional product over 500. This allows unlimited product listings. The 6% sales fee still applies. You can opt to pay 6% of the order amount upon receiving an order, either by credit card as-you-go as in Plan 1 or by adding $35 into your Sales Fee Account in advance, as in Plan 2.
You can change options once later if you wish, but it is not retroactive and will take affect beginning the month after your request.
SELLER PLAN 1 - Pay 6% when you receive an order
Your provided credit card will be charged $1.00 now, and then the $1.00 will be credited back to your Sales Fee Account. This ensures correct credit card information, and you will notice the $1 activity on your credit card bank statement.
At the time your customer places an order, you will be charged 6% of the order amount (minus sales tax, if any).
When your balance due reaches $5 or more, your credit card will be charged. You will be notified when this happens.
There is a minimum monthly sales fee of $5. If your total sales fees in a month are less than $5, then you will be charged the $5 minimum for the month. If your sales fees exceed $5, then the minimum does not apply.
SELLER PLAN 2 - Add money to your Sales Fee Account in advance
Use this plan if you do not wish to pay the 6% sales fee as you go from your credit card, or if you wish to use PayPal rather than a card.
This option lets you signup by adding $30 or more into your Shopper Delight Sales Fee Account in advance. When you get an order, the 6% sales fee will be deducted from your account.
You will be notified when your balance is low and need to add more money to your account. If your balance reaches zero, your products will be removed from Shopper Delight until you add more money. You will be notified if this occurs.
There is a minimum monthly sales fee of $5. If your total sales fees in a month are less than $5, then you will be charged the $5 minimum for the month. If your sales fees exceed $5, then the minimum does not apply.
SELLER PLAN 3 - Shopper Delight Merchant Subscription
If you have more than 50 products to sell then you can signup to become a Shopper Delight Merchant. This will enable to you list up to 500 products on Shopper Delight. If you list over 500 in a given month, $.05 per month is automatically added for each product listed. The 6% selling fee will still apply - pay 6% of the order amount upon making a sale. Your sales fees will be charged to your credit card, as in Plan 1, unless you decide to add money to your account in advance, as in Plan 2. There is no minimum monthly sales fee with Plan 3.
Sales Fee
With Plan 1 or Plan 2, you can list up to 50 products on your Shopper Delight Shopping Cart for free. With Plan 3, you can add as many products as you like. You pay a 6% sales fee for each order placed on Shopper Delight (excluding any sales taxes). Your card is charged for the 6% sales fee at the time of sale, unless your sales fee amount is less than $5, then it is added to your account due. When your account due becomes $5 or more, your Plan 1 credit card will be charged for the total account due. You will be notified each time your card is used to pay the 6% sales fee.
If you use Plan 2 and do not provide a credit card, you sales fees will be deducted from your Sales Fee Account. You will be notified when your Sales Fee Account balance is low and need to add more money. If your Sales Fee Account balance reaches zero, your products will be removed from Shopper Delight until you add more money. You will be notified if this occurs.
For Plan 1 and Plan 2, there is a minimum monthly sales fee of $5. If your total sales fees in a month are less than $5, then you will be charged the $5 minimum for the month. If your sales fees exceed $5, then the minimum does not apply.
You may change plans once later if you wish, taking effect the following month.
Taking online orders with no online payment
You do not have to take online payments. Just setup your free shopping cart to take orders only, with no payment. When you receive an order you can contact your buyer to arrange payment. You will pay the 6% sales fee for the total amount of the order when it is placed, whether the customer finally pays you or not.
Free Shopping Cart Software Provided
Shopper Delight provides sellers with a free online shopping cart. When you signup to sell on Shopper Delight, you will be given a username and password to log into your free shopping cart at http://www.shopperdelight.com/Admin and enter your products, shipping charges, etc. The Shopper Delight Shopping Cart is very robust and easy to use. When you first log in, just follow the simple cart setup checklist. Then enter your products, photos, prices and descriptions. Your products will automatically be added to Shopper Delight's shopping areas as you add your products.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancel at any time by
notifying Shopper Delight. Upon cancellation, any accumulated sales fees due will be charged to your credit card or deducted from your Sales Fee Account, depending on your Plan. If, after your final sales fees are deducted, you have a positive balance, exceeding $1, in your Plan 2 Sales Fee Account, the balance will be returned to you via Check within 6 weeks.
When someone places an order with you on Shopper Delight, your 6% sales fee becomes due. If you do not get paid by the buyer for any reason, the sales fee is still applies for the order placed. In this respect, no sales fees are refunded.
Involuntary Cancellations
Shopper Delight may cancel your buyer or seller account at any time with or without reason, and with or without notification to you. Upon cancellation, any remaining sales fees will be immediately collected. If, after your final sales fees are collected, you have a positive balance exceeding $1 it will be returned to you via Check within 6 weeks, providing no legal judgements are pending.
Illegal or Unethical Practices
If Shopper Delight receives any complaints about your buying or selling online practices, your account will be cancelled immediately. Shopper Delight has no tolerance for unethical or illegal buying or selling practices. Suspected illegal practices will be reported to the authorities, and Shopper Delight will provide any or all of your personal account information to authorities in cooperation in an investigation.
Buyer / Seller Disputes
Shopper Delight does not provide dispute resolution services to either the buyer or the seller. Shopper Delight's role is to provide online shopping software, marketed as ShopperDelight.com or W3ShoppingCart.com, for anyone to use in buying and selling online. Use good judgement whenever buying and selling online. Shopper Delight's buyer and seller rating system is one indicator that may help. Your credit card company and PayPal can provide dispute resolution services. When buying online, it is always advisable to find sellers who accept your major credit card or PayPal.
